we will send it over to meteorologist justin berk. will it be a good week toned see the movie? >> yes. we have to get to work early enough. a midnight showing wouldn't work with our schedule. it gets in the way sometimes. good movie viewing weather i think for some of you. we will talk about the slight adjustment to the forecast in a moment. yesterday, i was talking with people in annapolis while a big storm complex was diving out of the city and howard county and around annapolis. they got a light rain by the naval academy, but heavy stuff just by cape st. clair and edgewood and beyond. this clearing sky was before the full moon which officially occurs tonight. annapolis and edgewater down to 68 this morning. same glen burnie. 65 towson a boomer came through here as well and looking at 64 with dry air. and light wind in westminster. overall looking at really nice weather for today. sunshine will take us all the way through. we will get back close to 70.

by 8, we will push 85 as the two degree guaranteed high. let's talk about the traffic with tonya. >> reporter: we are doing okay 97 northbound harrisburg expressway no problems to report there either. let's look at jones fall expressway at northern parkway. no incidents to report. a lot more people heading southbound to the right of the screen. but just a little bit of volume as we speak right now. on east monument at bradford, we have fire activity. so look out for emergency vehicles there. also reisterstown road southbound at montrose we have emergency roadwork and 95 southbound between key highway and 395. new this morning, an entire community hit with a suspected hate crime. police in montgomery county are trying to figure out who slashed dozens of car tires and sprayed hate filled gra neaty in one silver spring neighborhood. this -- graffiti in one silver spring neighborhood. linda so is here with more. >> reporter: at least 20 people woke up to find their cars

vandalized. some were littered with hate filled graffitip it happened overnight on tuesday when -- graffiti. it happened overnight on tuesday. when they got up they discovered tires slashed and graffiti. police say it's a hate crime. they are looking for the vandals but people in the neighborhood are disgusted this type of thing could happen. they want whoever is responsible caught so that they can pay for the thousands of dollars in damages. >> i personally think someone was really angry or bored one or the other. >> blows me away there's people out there like that. >> reporter: now if they are caught and convicted of a hate crime, they could face up to 10 years in prison and a 10,000 dollar fine. in the studio, linda so, abc2 news. >> reporter: making news around the nation this morning, chaos at a courthouse. correction officers were bringing a murder suspect in fortrial when friends stormed past the officeers to attack

suspect. it's caught on tape. they threw him to the ground and stomped on his head. officers used tasteers on each of them to enter the fight. >> they were down there on the ground and tased within two, three, four seconds and then actually the whole thing was over with almost within 17 seconds, 18 seconds. >> everyone involved in the attack was arrested. high seas adventure off the california coast. fishermen were in kayak as half mile off santa barbara shoreline and things started to dangle. for more than half an hour, david fought off an unknown catch before reeling it in and at the end of the line an 8- foot thresher shark. >> right then the shark bucks and i can't get enough leverage to do anything about it. so it just flipped me and i was in the water. >> go back to the fish. >> who is videotaping this? >> yes and why aren't you

now "good morning maryland." 15 minutes away from 6 this morning. a baby dies after a crash that happened in northeast baltimore. the car ran into a tree yesterday evening and it happened at alameda and harford roads near clifton parks. there were three people inside the car, a man a 2-year-old child and baby. police say the baby was thrown from the car. an accident in cecil county killed a teen who recently graduated from high school. the sport utility vehicle or s up v left the road near northeast and rolled several

times. a passenger codey richardson was killed in the crash. he graduated last month from perryville high school. two other young men both 18 were also injured. pasadena man is facing murder charges. stephen salb is accused of stabbing his wife to death. this is their daughter in the video. her armed is wrapped up because she tried to save her mother's life yesterday morning. we learn the married couple was in the midst of a divorce. a 46-year-old mta bus driver this morning is suffering from meningitis and he died from it. the authorities say he went into union memorial hospital yesterday and the health department says the bacteria is not casually transmitted. the risk to public -- to the public is extremely low. the individual and his family were treated but it's just as a precaution. a final public hearing is set for today about the proposed toll hikes. actually, it's tonight in berlin. it runs from 5:30 to 8 at the stephen decater middle school.

if you can't make it, submit comments in writing to the maryland transportation authority. the deadline to get the written comments in is the first of august. well phillip's seafood is moving its location and today the cordish company will make an announcement about the move and we sent sherrie johnson downtown to the inner harbor for more on the developments. >> reporter: that's right. there is a big announcement scheduled today. we are in front of fill april seafood restaurant and it's scheduled to move across the inner harbor here over to the power plant space that was formerly occupied by the espn zone. cordish -- the cordish company will present the exterior plans and information for the new restaurant to the urban design and architecture review panel. several weeks ago they met with the baltimore development corporation to try to get three million dollars of -- 3 millio dollars of rent breaks in exchange for making 6 to 9

humidity is pushed to the south. a refreshing breeze outs of canada drops temperatures to near normal during the morning. mid-60s but feeling like autumn because of the comparison to where we were a day ago. 87 the high and below that for a couple days. 58, 101 the stretch. the 58 two years ago, 101 in 1954. sun up at 5:52. it should be a day to see mostly sunny skies with high pressure in control. the heat and humidity to the south you can see a very distinctive line here cared out in the cloud and -- carved out in the clouds. area of low pressure wrapping on in through the north atlantic basically coming off cape cod and that's responsible with the high pressure to take that northerly wind and bring it into the area. high pressure slides through canada, the winds are going to wrap around out of the northeast and east and that may drag in more moisture. but keep the cool air coming in off the atlantic. the old real adjustment might be in the form of cloudiness.

the future ray doe dar shows clouds flaring up during friday afternoon. so a sunny start after a clear day today. but tomorrow afternoon it may turn cloudy and we will watch that eastern wind perhaps impact the eastern shore and on into lower portions of maryland and beaches of delaware and maryland and virginia could get impacted as well. we may have ourselves extra clouds hanging around but the wind and that's going to keep it comfortable outside. may not be the best for some of you in terms of what the weekend shapes u but today one of the top summer days. 85. low humidity. wind 10 to 20 miles per hour. a refreshing breeze that will feel nice and a few fair weather clouds in the sky. look for tonight's temperatures back down to 60. 50s inland. and then tomorrow's temperatures back up mid-80s. now starting off sunny i think we may turn out with more clouds into the afternoon. and we will account for that in
